Wisconsin State Telecommunications Association
Job and Safety Training Program
WSTA's Telecommunications Job Training and Safety Program has been in existence for more than 45 years. This highly successful program has helped small, medium, and large telcos create and keep a high level of safety awareness among their employees, maintain a safe working environment and provide safety training required by such government entities as OSHA, the PSC, the Wisconsin DOT and private insurance companies.
The program consists of five 6-hour classes at 4 locations around the state. WSTA's Education and Safety Committee has worked diligently with its program instructor to create and maintain the course.
Based on the support for the program shown last year, WSTA will plan on holding classes at the 4 locations listed on the schedule. There will be five classes at each location beginning December 8, 2015 and ending March 1, 2016.
The fee is $380 per student. Companies will be able to register their employees and pay on-line or request an invoice. Certificates will be sent upon completion of training. Pre-registration will be kept open until December 4, 2015. We hope you will register earlier as the first set of training classes begins on December 8, 2015.
For your convenience, schedule of topics and list of class topics for the 2015 - 2016 year are available on the WSTA website, where you may also register online: http://www.wsta.info/event/jobtrainingsafety.
